Reynobond Aluminum Composite Panel

Posted : Sunday, May 16, 2010

In an article that discusses this composite aluminum panels, I take the example of building "The Mountain Dwellings" which is made by Architects Bjarke Ingels and Jakob Lange of the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG).

The design of the building facade was originally investigated to cavities, but because the building constantly equated with the mountain, the architects eventually choose to take desian miniature - Mount Everest.

Aluminum composite panel material used Reynobond ® Architecture is the material of aluminum composite panels by Alcoa, which is painted with colors DURAGLOSS ® 5000 in the selected architect. DURAGLOSS ® 5000 is a new type of high-tech coating that has a number of benefits. Influence and color intensity achieved by the materials used to dress up the ceiling of the parking lot, and the ceiling and walls of the corridor that leads to the apartment. For color,
selected on the basis of green grass and blue sky at the end with a "peak, says Jakob Lange, director of" The Dwellings Mountains "project.
On looking outside the lines tend to radiate a simple and obvious contrast to the atmosphere and very interesting architecture inside. As a creative contrast between warm and cool movement, and even the earth and upward, to lend "Mountain Dwellings" dynamic, a good display of double character.

Reynobond ® aluminum composite panel with bright colors and Natural Brushed Aluminum is used to cover about 15,000 square meters. Cladding of the facade of the apartment with aluminum composite panel can be viewed as a continuation of the design concept. Exterior facade of the predecessor project BIG, the VM Houses, also is covered entirely in aluminum and glass. Jakob Lange explains: "With 'The Mountain Dwellings', we took the aluminum to the facade as a setback to the 'opposite VM Houses',. Overall, in this building, there are three basic design elements found on the exterior design, namely: to design perforated aluminum Mount Everest which covers 2510 square meters area, wood with glass panels to the south-facing terrace with a glass and aluminum building facade.
